Where can I find a legitimate work from home site?
filed in Xdela Community on Jun.21, 2010
I have been looking everywhere for one! I have a 5 month old baby and even though my husband works full time, I want to have at least a little money coming in. I really want to work from home so I can stay here with my daughter, but I can’t find any legit sites. Does anyone know where I can find one?

I work with Melaleuca and must say there is a difference between "work at home jobs" and "home business". There are very few "work at home jobs" out there unless you know the right person or have been on a very long waiting list. Home businesses generally require a start up fee. You aren’t actually paying to work but yet you are paying to start your own business. Melaleuca is a home business and I love working with them to earn an extra income from home. Not only have they given me the opportunity to earn an income they have provided me a way to bring products that are safer for my family and actually work better than store brands into my home. Anything that promises you will get rich quick and easily is for sure a scam. If that were the case don’t you think everyone would be doing it? I will not lie, what I do is alot of work and there are many people who think they should be making thousands within the first few weeks. When they don’t they get mad and talk bad about the company. Fortunately I decided to try the company for myself and I am glad I did. I would love to share the details (we have a great deal going until the end of the month where start up is only $1!) with you just contact me at deliveringwellness25@ymail.com.

I just signed up to be a PartyLite consultant last month. In the past month I have had a paycheck for $125 for having my own party at my house, plus $200 in free products, and a free gift. So far I love it. Being a consultant, you get 25% profit off your sales, 50% off any products you want, 7% bonuses each month that you hit a certain sales goal, and a lot more cool benefits. You can go to my web site for more information about the business.

Hi there, as many people already pointed out you have to be extra vigilant when looking for work-from-home info. Also, once you kind of figure out which way you’d like to go & basically what’d like to do you must stay focused on that one thing only, until you start making money. Once you’ve done that you can add some other way of earning money and again, learn how to do them, start making money and if you can add another way of making money. Basically you’d be adding more and more of ways to make money, whether online or offline. I’ll try to find some more info and post here if I have something relevant and free.

CNN reported that MORE than 99% of these work at home sites are scams.
Pure scams.
They could not verify the other 1%.
There was a lady on here that was happy that she was actually making 10 cents an hour.
But her complaint was – after 2 months – that her $25 was not being issued to her.
Only if you have marketable skills can you work from home.
You will have to find a local company that you can establish yourself with and ask them if they can allow you to work from home a couple of days out of the week. Again, this is only if you have skills that are highly in demand and you can prove to them that you will actually work and not take care of your baby all day.

There are a lot of scams out there. Especially in this economy where there are so many people out looking for work. I would like to not only show you a company that is 100% not a scam but also be able to PROVE this to you as well as show you how you can pick out which companies are scams and which ones are truly legitimate business.
