What is a good action anime prefferably involving lots of swordplay without an emphasis on romance?

I’m looking for something like Rurouni Kenshin but not very romantic. Bleach won’t do because I don’t really care for it. Really, any action anime with a good story will do. I’ve been wanting a good anime to watch, but I can’t seem to find any.

Kuroshitsuji (I really suggest this one too you)
In Victorian England it is commonplace for the rich and wealthy to have a staff, led by a head butler, to run their households; the Phantomhive Estate is no different. The young and demanding Count Ciel Phantomhive, child owner of a toy company, lives in the grand countryside manor. Sebastian is his head butler, and the epitome of perfection; he effortlessly and gracefully completes his day-to day chores and fixes the countless mistakes of the other employees. However, whilst on the outside all seems prim and proper, a more sinister secret lies just beneath the surface. Samurai Champloo
Samurai Champloo is all about style, from the dj-style scratching scene changes to the hip-hop-inspired soundtrack to the eclectic character design. Mugen’s fighting style is a funky meld of capoeira and limb-cutting, and Jin is the dramatic foil; he is all steel and old-school samurai style. What binds them together is the desire to test each other’s abilities, and a promise to a girl named Fuu: to find the samurai that smells of sunflowers, who plays a pivotal role in her past. Together they travel through edo-era Japan, finding battle and comedy wherever they stop.
Cowboy Bebop
Follow interstellar bounty hunters Spike Spiegel and Jet Black as they scour the galaxy for criminals with prices on their heads. Hoping to escape their past, they live on the spaceship Bebop, but it’s a dangerous business and old enemies don’t forget easily. An akuma is a soul which has been brought back to life through sadness and despair with the powers of Millenium Earl. Their mission is to terrorize the earth and all who dwell within it. The Black Order is a group of Exorcists that have sworn to cleanse the souls of the akuma, and collect the substance known as "innocence". This powerful substance can be used as an anti-akuma weapon, and ultimately can help destroy the evil Millenium Earl. Allen Walker is a young Exorcist who has the ability to tell who is human and who is an akuma with the help of his cursed eye. Together with the Black Order, Allen must find all 109 pieces of innocence to protect the world and defeat Earl.

Berserk and Samurai Champloo are really good ones that meet that description. I’d suggest Berserk if you want insanely awesome/bloody battles and Samurai Champloo if you want a more lighthearted and creative (but very action-packed) storyline. Can’t go wrong with either one.
Also, I haven’t seen Shigurui, but I’m aware that it directly involves samurai/swordplay. For this reason, you may want to try that one out as well.

There is a good anime movie called "Sword of the Stranger" that I enjoy, it’s emphasis is more about action and swordplay!
