What is the normal amount of time it takes to memorize a monologue?

I want to know if I’m at a good, bad, or normal skill level when it comes to memorizing large amounts of words. If you’re like a mental health specialist or an actor or something, can you tell me how long it should take/ takes you to memorize a monologue that’s about a 1.5 minutes long?

Averge is 5 minutes, but usually some can do it in a better time maybe like 1.5 or 2 minutes. But for the slower ones, it might take up to 6.5 minutes or even to 8.2, that is if they are very slow.

There is no normal. I have crazy capabilities, and can memorize some after reading them twice. Some people I know have to spend half an hour on three lines. And they still get it, and they’re still fine. Really, those considered good at memorizing are those who get around to it and take the time and often take it enough to get ahead. Those who are bad are those who don’t try, and normal, I guess, would be trying to the point of being where you need to be and not super checking it, still paraphrasing and getting a cue or 2 for a while.
