How do I create a vignetting effect using just a 35mm camera?

None of that photoshopping, I want to know what I can do to my camera – if anything – that will give my photographs a nice vignetting.

Pick a nice lens hood that is designed for a longer lens than the one you are using and it will cause vignetting.
Example, use a lens hood for a 85 mm lens on a 50 mm lens
You can also ask your lab to print which ever images you want and add vignetting to the print during printing. Many custom printers offer this service to their portrait photographers

A matte box with a vignetter, a Cokin center sharp filter, a piece of black paper rolled into a tube and shot through.
