In piano, does one accidental on a clef carry over to the other clef?

I am learning Chopin’s Impromptu No. 1, and I am forgetting if both clefs take an accidental. Say there is an E natural on the treble clef, and an E on the bass clef. Would the bass clef also take the natural? Is there a specific rule?

I’m not entirely sure I understand the question so hopefully I answer it.
Just say you’re in the key of C major in the treble and the bass. If you have a g# in the treble, you will not have a G# in the bass for that bar unless it is stated in that bar.
In terms of key, the key is whatever is stated after the clef.
In fact, there is no circumstance where an accidental is carried over from one stave to another. It would be like having it carry over between two separate instruments.
hope that helps

Nope. The key signature for each clef will be stated on each specific line; they don’t carry over, and I’ve never seen a piece of music do so.
