I want to put music from my laptop to my cassettes, so if i buy an mp3 cable which one end plugs into the headphone jack on the recorder and one into my laptop. Is this possible? How do i do this?

I already have wireless shelf speakers hooked up to the TV’s headphone jack. To use both the shelf speakers and the sub, can I just add a Y cable?

I have a standard, cheap microphone (sony F-V100 dynamic microphone) that plugs into the headphone jack of my 3rd Generation iPod touch. Instead of working like a microphone it acts as a speaker, only emitting and never taking in sounds. Any thoughts?
