OLED screens, have been predicted to really starting blooming in the next 2-3 years, making plasmas and LCDs old technology. Something I’ve been trying to figure, is what stocks will be blooming with them.

I’ve heard of companies splitting their stocks. Does this mean that if I owned 12 stocks worth 2 dollars each, if they doubled the stocks, I’d now have 24 stocks worth 1 dollar a piece?

I have no idea how to find out if I still own stock (that I had the certificate for) in a company that got bought by a HUGELY successful company, also privately owned. Where do I find out where my shares went? I lost the certificate years ago when I didn’t think anything of it.

I have to click several times before the cursor will move in either direction and it’s very frustrating! I have 16 different portfolios and wonder if there is a limit. Would it help if I eliminate some of the stocks from my Watch lists?
